Jackson’s at Jedburgh
Review
There are good farm tours, excellent farm tours, and then there’s Jackson’s at Jedburgh, which I consider among the very best in Scotland! Let me explain why. Set across 436 acres at Kershaugh Farm, this remarkable farming enterprise is run by fifth generation farmers Fenwick and Jasmine Jackson, whose passion for agriculture is infectious. With approximately 1,000 Shetland sheep, over 500 cattle, including over a 100 magnificent Highland cows, alongside pigs, goats and poultry, this is a genuine working farm experience that celebrates Scotland’s agricultural heritage. What particularly impressed me was the authenticity. Nothing feels manufactured for tourists; this is farming at its finest, delivered with genuine warmth and enthusiasm. But here's the icing on the cake! Every paid experience allows visitors to return throughout the same season without paying again. In an age when family attractions can become expensive, that represents extraordinary value. Jackson’s at Jedburgh deserves every accolade. Absolutely outstanding!
