Harewood House
Review
This stunning country house was designed by architects Robert Adam and John Carr. Dating back to the 1750’s, it is nestled in a beautiful part of West Yorkshire. As soon as you arrive, Harewood house captures your imagination. Rich in history, explore this breathtaking Georgian property, which is home to some of the most world renowned Art collections. From JMW Turner, to El Greco, expect to be surprised. The terrace gallery is particularly fabulous, as it hosts a variety of events and exhibitions, frequently welcoming Artists from the world. With over 100 acres of gardens at Harewood, the house is a Grade I listed building, and it is one of the most historic homes in the country. The bird garden is fascinating. It is home to some truly exotic species. Not far from there, the adventure playground is a children’s heaven. There is even a boat! Yes! You can embark on The Capability, and actually sail on the lake!
