Goody Bridge Holiday Cottages
Goody Bridge Holiday cottages are situated within the grounds of Goody Bridge Farm (our family home). We have lived at Goody Bridge for 30 years bringing up our three now grown up children here and have been letting the cottage for over 20 years and the Barn on and off since 1993.
Goody Bridge offers a peaceful rural retreat, but is still within easy reach of the shops and many excellent cafes and restaurants.
In the opposite direction Easedale road heads towards the Easedale Valley with its many scenic walks including Helm Crag and Easedale Tarn. A gateway at the rear of the site leads through the fields to the river with stepping stones and footpath to Silver How. Many of our guests park the car on arrival and hardly use it until departure
We have run our business 'The Apple Pie', a café and bakery in Ambleside since 1975 and recently added 8 guestrooms which we let on a room only basis - breakfast at the Apple Pie optional.
We would like to offer our cottage guests 10% discount on purchases in the café and the bakery.
