Glenmalure Lodge
Review
Perfectly located in the heart of the Glenmalure Valley, Glenmalure Lodge is an iconic gem of Irish hospitality. Originally opened by Paddy and Anne Dowling, this charming hotel embodies Paddy’s vision of a true Irish welcome, warm, genuine, and unforgettable. Although Paddy sadly passed in 2019, his legacy lives on through his family, who have navigated the hotel through challenging times with resilience and care, including the heartbreaking loss of Daniel "Danny" Dowling, whose love for this place was palpable. The lodge exudes a cozy, inviting atmosphere that stays with you long after your visit, beckoning you to return. Its popularity speaks volumes, so booking in advance is highly recommended. Glenmalure Lodge isn’t just a hotel; it’s a heartfelt experience steeped in tradition and love.
