Glenarn Gardens
Review
When speaking about gardens in Scotland, the garden here at Glenarn is probably one of Scotland’s biggest hidden gems. When it comes to visitor experience, Glenarn Garden has so much to offer the novice gardener as well as the expert green- fingered among you. Every inch of the garden offers something different and it is literally a who’s who of the Rhododendron world. The present owners, by their own admission, didn’t buy a house with a garden; they bought a garden with a house. They have both dedicated their whole lives to its upkeep, and although Glenarn’s few previous owners were really ardent gardeners, it is apparent that Mike & Sue Thornley have surpassed even these. What we also really like about Glenarn, is that underneath all of its horticultural prowess, is a garden for everyone to enjoy and all are welcome to experience its splendour. With just a suggested donation as its entrance fee, anyone can afford to experience what is truly a spectacular garden.

A trip into a bygone era is what you can expect when visiting the Upper Crust restaurant. Its owners Mary & Roger, along with Mary's sister Kate, really have put their heart and soul into this restaurant.

Anne and John are certainly no strangers to the hospitality industry and after doing this job for almost four decades, they clearly still love welcoming people into their home.
