Cattle & Creel
Review
This restaurant comes highly recommended by accommodation owners in the area for good reason. The Cattle & Creel has received the ‘Taste our Best Award’ from Visit Scotland for serving the best of Scottish ingredients with local provenance. Such care is taken in the selection of their ingredients, with Milan himself personally collecting their langoustines from Tarbert, Loch Fyne. This restaurant was a Best Scottish Restaurant finalist in 2018 and sports an incredible seafood bar which showcases their unique produce. Among other noteworthy dishes on the menu is the Rabbit and Black Pudding Rilette and the Linguine Vongole, featuring mouth-watering clams and samphire. Gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options are also available. It’s worth mentioning that Cara and Milan own and run another two eateries in the town; both the multiple award-winning tapas bar La Barca and Padrona; their pizza spot. All three restaurants are fabulous, affordable and have exceptional food on their menus.
