The revamped Glasshouse at Birch Tree Inn may look like an ordinary English country inn, but when you enter, you are transported. The green, rolling landscape soothes and the friendly reception welcomes guests. Your warm and inviting seating selection includes a horseshoe-shaped counter and tables placed for maximum exposure to the glorious view. A new menu includes simpler meals such as jacket potatoes and sandwiches as well as the more elaborate Chicken Kiev; all equally well-presented and scrumptious. The food is particularly highly recommended as it is freshly made, real Yorkshire fare. This makes the Glasshouse the ideal place in the Wilsill area for a family gathering or a wedding party. If you are by yourself, do stop here to enjoy a Pimm’s on the terrace or an ale at the counter, you will be so happy that you did!
