Review
Set in Limerick’s city centre, Dolans Warehouse is the beating heart of the county’s live music scene and, after a decade of my own endorsements, it now stands truly among Ireland’s finest venues. The main room crackles with atmosphere: a purpose-built space where sound is clean, sightlines are strong, and audiences feel part of the performance. Many major acts have taken this stage, matched by a stream of exciting newcomers and Irish stalwarts. The welcome is quintessentially local thanks to owner Mick Dolan and his son Neil, whose reputation as passionate promoters precedes them. It’s not just about the gigs, either. The adjoining bar and kitchen serve hearty, well-executed plates that keep energy high before curtain-up and satisfy after encores, alongside a broad selection of Ireland’s favourite beers, spirits, stouts, and whiskeys, plus classic cocktails. Come for a show, linger for the hospitality, and leave with Limerick ringing in your ears.
