Cramond Falls Cafe & B&B
Review
I’ve featured a number of mills in my books over the years, mostly attractions, some as accommodation, but what makes this 17th-century mill so unique is that not only is it a superb little cafe, but a B&B also. Ran by its lovely owner, Elaine Stuart, who has painstakingly created one of the best little places to visit outside Edinburgh and her cakes are to die for, believe me, I was lucky enough to sample her homemade fayre and along with her really nice coffee, I wasn’t disappointed. Elaine only has a few rooms and so, she does get booked up quite quickly, so if your not wanting to be in the thick of it by staying in the city centre of Edinburgh, Elaine’s rooms really are a great alternative. So whether you’re just passing, or looking for a weekend away, Cramond Falls Cafe & B&B is the only place to stop!
