Coia’s Cafe & Deli
Review
Coia’s Cafe & Deli, based in the heart of Glasgow, really is the beat in the cities culinary heart. This hard working restaurant really is an institution to the people of Glasgow and now word has got out, their coming from even further afield. I ate there with a friend whilst spending the night in Glasgow and I can honestly say, I wasn’t disappointed. Fish and Chips was the order of the day, followed by lashings of their famous Italian ice cream. The food came out quite briskly, despite being freshly prepared, I can say this as the batter was near perfect and the chips themselves seemed to have that home cooked taste that I’ve not tasted since being a child. It was a Tuesday, yet it was still busy and the staff, despite being rushed off their feet, were friendly and the menu was very reasonably priced, so along with excellent food, what more could you want!
