Having never visited Loch Lomond previously, I was completely bowled over by the stunning scenery that surrounds this, the third largest lake in Great Britain and all only a half hour drive away from the centre of Glasgow! Here at the Loch Lomond’s Bird of Prey Centre and after overcoming some adversity, this small attraction has a huge personality. Being very reasonably priced you won’t be disappointed on that score and with lots of birds, including their purpose built flying arena, they offer huge value for money. The staff are very knowledgeable and know these birds like the back of their hands, which is very important, as you have to remember these are birds of prey, killers in the natural world and to be able to second guess them is paramount. These beautiful creatures look absolutely stunning in their well cared for aviaries and I couldn’t get over how clean and slick the facilities were here!
