Right in the historic heart of Kilkenny City, Butler Court Guest Accommodation embodies everything I champion: warm people, thoughtful design, and effortless comfort. Hosts Yvonne and John Dalton have been doing this so long they’ve perfected the art of hospitality, calm, capable, and instinctively attentive. This is my second endorsement of them, and just when I thought the rooms couldn’t be better, they’ve raised the bar again: bright, cosy, and impeccably kept, with quality linens, great showers, and the kind of quiet that guarantees rest. Practical touches abound, from slick check-in to little conveniences that make a short stay feel longer.
