Brynffynon Hotel & Restaurant
Review
This isn’t the first time that the Brynffynon has appeared in this book, in fact it’s one of the old guard, having been in it since the very beginning in 2010. However, with new owners at the helm, it continues to be as successful as it’s always been. Located in one of South Wales most beautiful valleys, surrounded by thick forestry, the hotel is a great Bolthole for those looking for a nice escape from reality, but one that isn’t far from the hustle and bustle of civilization. The hotel rooms themselves are well furnished and everyone raves about the breakfasts here. The hotel also has a very good and very affordable food menu and so, for those wishing not to drive anywhere else, you won’t be disappointed with the food on offer here. You can then relax in front of the open log fire before retiring to your room.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Having also featured the accommodation here at the Brynffynon Hotel, the food offering here is also well worth a mention. A wide and clever menu is available and with the hotel being warm and cosy, I don’t think there’s any need to travel anywhere else locally. The hotel itself is not trying to be something it’s not, it offers a really affordable menu and where possible, locally sourced produce. With everything from light bites, a kids menu and not forgetting of course their famous Sunday lunch menu, you’ve got all you need here for a great meal. Even if you're not staying with them in the hotel, you're still welcome to dine with them, however, it’s seriously advised to book ahead to avoid disappointment. The Brynffynon is starting to become a destination for its food and Pauline and her team are on hand to welcome you to their lovely hotel.
