Bramley Lodge Restaurant
Review
Bramley Lodge in Carrigtwohill is a superb example of how a family-run restaurant should be done. Since 2009, this welcoming bar and eatery has earned its reputation for quality, consistency, and genuine hospitality. Perfectly placed near Fota Wildlife Park and Cobh, it is an ideal stop for breakfast, a light lunch, or a relaxed evening meal. I particularly admire seeing owners Gillian and Finbarr actively on the floor with their team, bringing warmth and professionalism to every service, which is a rare site these days. Their new Orangery is a wonderful addition, stylish yet comfortable, and a lovely setting for dinner at any time of day. With so much cooked in-house, Bramley Lodge delivers honest, flavourful food that keeps people returning for more, every visit.

O’Neill’s Bar & Accommodation
After nearly 16 years writing and touring for my Top 100 Attractions series, I didn’t think a simple B&B visit could still surprise me, until I checked into O’Neills Pub & B&B in Midleton. Set above a character-filled pub, the guest rooms are a real credit to owner Brendan O’Neill.
