Bantry Bay Golf Club
Review
As a travel journalist, I take just as much pride in uncovering hidden gems, and Bantry Bay Golf Club is a shining example of one. Set amid some of County Cork’s most breathtaking scenery, this course delivers spectacular views at every turn, with not a single vantage point failing to impress. Spread across 170 acres of glorious West Cork countryside, the setting alone makes a visit worthwhile, but the quality of the course itself is equally commendable. It is clearly well kept, thoughtfully managed, and cared for by a knowledgeable and dedicated team who really understand exactly what golfers value. There is a wonderful sense of peace here, with fresh air, open space, and scenery that lingers long in the memory. If you are especially lucky, you may even play while a cruise ship sits moored in Bantry Bay, an unforgettable sight. A fabulous course in a truly remarkable location.
