Ashtree House Bed & Breakfast
Review
Ashtree House is an excellent choice for people wanting to stay somewhere filled with character, outside of the hustle and bustle that comes with staying in the city. This pretty establishment is neatly positioned between Halifax and Bradford on the outskirts of Thornton, home of the Brontë sisters. It is, in our opinion, one of the highest quality B&B’s in the area and their online reviews will stand testament to this. The owners of Ashtree, Chris and Bev, are really welcoming and the house is absolutely immaculate. It is decorated in beautiful keeping with the Victorian feel of the house, which was built in 1863, with ‘Shillycake’ having a en-suite bathroom. “Hoppit” has its own separate but private bathroom with shower.Their breakfast room is not only stocked with the very best breakfast continental options, but they also make a mean cooked breakfast in a room that just oozes character to round off what will be a very pleasurable stay.
