Armadale Castle, Gardens & Museum
Review
Armadale Castle, Gardens & Museum can be found on the southern tip of the Isle of Skye, in Sleat. The grounds are absolutely beautiful to walk through, with surreal views across the Sound of Sleat. This majestic Highland estate is perfect to explore and discover the history of the castle and the ancient story of Clan Donald, Scotland’s largest and most powerful clan. The museum, gardens and woodlands are open daily and offer a delightful day out for visitors of all ages, with a fantastic play area for kids. The café has free Wi-Fi and two gift shops. Dogs are welcome in the gardens on leads, and the staff are friendly. You have to see it to understand why it is one of Scotland’s five star visitor attractions in Sleat! Well worth a visit.
