Aleppo Merchant Inn
Review
When pubs are closing left, right and centre all over Wales, in fact all, over the British Isles, the owners here at the Aleppo Merchant Inn were busy renovating what was once a run down pub. Being no strangers to the renovation of old buildings, they set out to create a space that was not only comfortable and inviting, but the food had to follow suit. The result in my opinion, is one of the best examples of a country inn that I have seen in a very long time. There was no expense spared with the downstairs of the pub and the rooms are top notch also! Being only a small distance from the mountains of Snowdonia and a short drive away from the Elan Valley, the Aleppo is an ideal choice either for your accommodation needs, or just a bite to eat.
