Wrights Anglers Rest, sitting on the edge of Dublin’s iconic Phoenix Park, is the kind of place that instantly captures the imagination. Originally built as a hotel, it carries a fascinating past, with Michael Collins himself said to have met his spies here between 1919 and 1922.
