Waun Wyllt is one of the finest Welsh country inns I’ve had the pleasure of visiting in quite some time. Run by the experienced and passionate duo, Liam and Michelle Smith, this gem offers an exceptional dining and accommodation experience in the heart of the Carmarthenshire countryside. The food here is simply superb, whether it’s a hearty traditional dish, something off the A La Carte menu, or a Sunday lunch, even breakfast, every plate is crafted and presented with care and flair. Accommodation is equally impressive, with two luxurious options: Horeb Cottage and The Lodge. The Lodge can be booked as individual rooms or as a full-property let, with The Lodge featuring a Jacuzzi hot tub, perfect for romantic escapes. Waun Wyllt also specialises in bespoke wedding packages that are intimate, personal, and surprisingly affordable. With their attention to detail and genuine hospitality, it’s no wonder guests fall in love with this place!
