Review
When somebody told me there was a Climbable Ice Wall in the middle of Manchester's busy city centre, I really thought I was a victim of a practical joke! But upon further investigation,I found that it truly did exist. Located inside one of Ellis Brigham's mountain sports shops, is a purpose built Ice Wall that even the hardiest of climbers loves to climb. Being only one of three indoor Ice Walls in the UK, Vertical Chill, is the next best thing to climbing the Alps, and with various climbing routes aimed at all difficulty levels, Vertical Chill has everything you'll need to prepare you for this type of mountain climbing. I was very impressed by Vertical Chill's great team of trained climbing instructors and I could see that every attention to detail has been undertaken to ensure total safety.
