Treacy’s Bar & Restaurant
Review
Just a short hop off the M7 between Dublin and Limerick, Treacy’s Bar & Restaurant is the kind of stop that proves the best places are still family run. Nearly 250 years in the same family is no small feat, and you feel that heritage the moment you walk in, well kept, proudly local, and full of stories, with the kind of atmosphere you can’t manufacture. The Treacy family have steered this old pub through changing times while keeping the welcome warm and the standards high. Food is a genuine highlight: drop by for breakfast, linger over lunch, or settle in for a proper dinner, all served with friendly efficiency. It’s the beating heart of the community, yet visitors happily detour miles to experience it. Camper-van travellers are well catered for too, with generous parking and hook-up facilities available for a small fee. Real Ireland lives here.
