Torquay's Dinosaur World is an fun interactive indoor exhibition that brings dinosaurs and their worlds to life! There are a host of scaled and full size models set in realistic scenes accompanied by exciting information. There are excavation sites where you can uncover fascinating fossils, dinosaurs that you can sit with if you are brave enough, a fun family quiz and many other interactive exhibits.

Imagine what life was like when these monsters roamed the earth as you walk past and get close to the life-sized dinosaurs. See if you are brave enough to grab a Triceratops by its horns or touch the giant hairy spiders!

Have you ever wanted to hunt for dinosaur fossils? Why not have a go in one of the excavation sites! Carefully brush through desert sand and discover a whole host of rare fossils, teeth and bones! What will you find?

Sit on some of the most fearsome creatures to ever walk the earth, such as the deadly Deinonycus, or even put your head in the fossilised skull of the scariest dinosaur ever – the monstrous T-Rex.

Take part in the fun and exciting Dinosaur Explorer Quiz and get the chance to win a Dinosaur Expert Certificate – it’s great for all the family and helps every age and ability understand about the wonderful world of dinosaurs.

Once you have braved the world of dinosaurs all the explorers can browse through the Dinosaur World shop to find a perfect souvenir. There are dinosaur models, hatching dinosaur eggs, fossil digs, real fossils and much much more!

Whether you have little dinosaur fans, or even big ones, there’s something for everyone to get their teeth into at Torquay’s Dinosaur World!

Review

Being only a stones throw away from Dorset’s Jurassic Coast, it seems only fitting for Devon to have its very own dinosaur world. This interactive visitor attraction has boldly introduced life sized replicas of these amazing but complex creatures and with a wide collection of fossils on display, you’ll be amazed, let alone educated after your visit here. As you make your way to this attraction from wherever your coming from, you just have to remember that it is on the Main Street in Torquay, known as Victoria Parade, so there is no parking here, but non of that really matters as the town centre has some good car parks, only just a stones throw away from the exhibition itself. An absolute must here at Torquay’s Dinosaur World is to touch the Dinosaur Poo, if you dare! This is a great little attraction and most certainly well worth the admission price.
