Tom Crean Brewery, Tours and Shop in Kenmare is a wonderful celebration of heritage, family and craft, brought beautifully to life by Aileen Crean and Bill Sheppard. With the legendary explorer Tom Crean name at its heart, this is far more than just a brewery; it is a visitor experience full of character, storytelling and genuine passion. Using organic and natural ingredients, they have created a superb range of beers, with gins soon to follow, each reflecting care, patience and imagination. There is so much involved in producing these drinks that a short review can only scratch the surface, which is why I cannot recommend the tour highly enough. It offers fantastic value for money and gives visitors a real insight into the skill behind every glass. Tours should be booked ahead, as simply turning up could lead to disappointment. Kenmare is lucky to have this attraction and that’s a fact!
