The Yurt Farm is a small eco friendly glamping site on our organic family farm in West Wales. In a wildflower meadow we have handcrafted four yurts and a beautiful train carriage for you to stay in. Help yourself to wood for crackling campfires under clear night skies or to keep your stove roaring. Fire up the pizza oven for an evening feast with friends. We provide everything needed to make your yurt holiday comfortable and enjoyable. Watch dolphins in Cardigan Bay, walk in the Cambrian Mountains, watch red kites, cycle country lanes, meet the farm animals, taste really fresh vegetables from the farm shop and collect eggs for breakfast. The Yurt Farm has to be Ceredigion’s biggest and brightest of all of its hidden gems. Being a totally family run business, consisting of Thea, Laurie and their wonderful children, the Yurt Farm offers an escape from the usual reality of your normal life and within a setting that’s as idyllic as can be. As if their state of the art yurts weren’t enough of an attraction, dotted all over their 150acre Estate, are lovely little footpaths and farm trails that the kids will undoubtedly love to explore all day long. I had the good fortune to spend a small amount of time with Laurie and Thea and sampling their wonderful baked banana bread and after even that small amount of time, I was totally convinced I had to feature the Yurt farm as an attraction and not just as an accommodation provider in Ceredigion’s ‘Sleep Tight’ section of this chapter.
