Review
The historic Yarborough Arms, in the Lincolnshire village of Ulceby, is a welcoming country pub that leaves a lasting impression. Owners Mary and Darrell took over in 2017 and, through hard work, care and considerable investment, have transformed it into a real local gem. There is an easy warmth to the place, helped by a friendly team who make every guest feel genuinely welcome. The bedrooms are comfortable, cosy and ideal whether you are visiting for business, a short break or a romantic escape in the countryside. Food is another real strength here. Mary brings many years of experience in the food trade to the kitchen, and that knowledge shows in the quality, care and flavour of the dishes served. I particularly loved the relaxed atmosphere; there is no pretence, just good hospitality, good food and a sense that the Yarborough Arms is a place people happily return to time and again.
