Review

Perfectly positioned on the South Wirral and Cheshire border, the Woodcote Hotel makes a wonderfully inviting retreat for couples eager to explore this fascinating corner of the country. Liverpool, Chester, the Wirral Peninsula and even North Wales are all within easy reach, yet the hotel itself feels pleasantly removed from the rush. The rooms are cosy, comfortable and thoughtfully presented, while the food is so enjoyable that dining elsewhere may quickly lose its appeal. What truly gives the Woodcote its character, however, is the warmth of the people behind it. The owners David and Tina Cobb and their fabulous team are friendly, attentive and determined to make every stay memorable. There is also a romantic side to this welcoming hotel, with excellent facilities for intimate weddings, private celebrations and special occasions. Combining comfort, good food and heartfelt hospitality, the Woodcote Hotel is a lovely base for a memorable escape together.
