The Inn has been refurbished to a high standard using local craftsmen to uncover the hidden architectural treasures which have so long been forgotten. The refurbishment has opened up and lightened a space which was once dark and dated, now the Inn is both traditional and modern, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Hops hang from the ceilings and are complimented by beautiful paintings and soft, warm colours.
We would like to invite you to come and enjoy the bar and dining area and celebrate with us the refurbishment of the Inn which was once so integral to the heart of the local community.
Our Beer selection is varied, ranging the finest of the locally brewed Ales to Award Winning Craft beers such as the Goose Island Midway.
Gin & Rum made their appearance to Englands shores in the the same century the Inn was founded, in homage to this we have selected the finest of these tipples for your enjoyment.
