The Watermill

Eating Out

The Watermill lies in the picturesque Vale of Glamorgan with the seaside villages of Ogmore-by-Sea and Southerndown only a short distance away. At the Watermill a warm welcome awaits you along with Brains famous real ales and a wide menu, offering traditional meals to the more daring of dishes.

The Watermill menu changes regularly using the finest seasonal ingredients to create interesting and comforting dishes.

"The staff are always very helpful."

We aim to provide unfussy, seasonal menus with whenever possible, regionally sourced food from responsible and trustworthy suppliers.

Our wide ranging and ever changing menu features dishes such as Roast ham hock & sticky cider sauce with caramelized apple and Chicken breast wrapped in pancetta.

"The chef was really helpful with helping us with a gluten free meal."

The Watermill stocks a wide variety of beers and ales on tap which includes Heineken and the much sought after Peroni.

Also at least 2 real ales available all year round including our changing Cask Ale of the Month.

The current cask ale of the month is the Rev James.

We also have an excellent choice of wines available to accompany your meal - and wide choice is also available by the glass.
