Review

“I am the bread of kindness and the flower of beauty. Ye who pass me by, listen to my Prayer: Harm me not.” Prayer of the Wood. Anon.

Betws-y-Coed, the exquisite, green Gateway to Snowdonia, remains North Wales’ most popular inland resort. Set in this beautiful valley, The Waterloo Hotel and Stations Leisure complex, makes a perfect base from which to explore fairytale scenery, and the hidden magic of diamond-like waterfalls and twisting, endless pathways. Whatever you fancy doing: walking the dog, mountain biking, scaling the heights of Snowdon or just enjoying a Welsh Cream Tea; the Waterloo Hotel has a wonderful selection of lodge style rooms, with all amenities provided for comfort. Enjoy some pampering in the heated indoor pool with jacuzzi, sauna and steam room, or maybe just relax with a little drink.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Magic and mystery awaits visitors within the lush Gateway to Snowdonia: Betws-y-Coed. Like a Goddess dressed in a bejewelled emerald gown, this extra special inland resort is North Wales’ crowning glory. So, having spent the day exploring beautiful Snowdonia, how about returning to the hotel, and once you get your breath back, diving into a heavenly feast. The Bridge Restaurant serves contemporary, seasonal and locally grown sourced produce, with a wide variety of drinks and beverages. Local Welsh Mountain Lamb is a sublime favourite, as are the shining fruits of the sea: fresh fish and succulent seafood.
