The Walled Gardens at Croome Court
Review
The Walled Garden at Croome Court is, without doubt, one of the finest walled gardens in the British Isles. Rescued by Karen and Chris Cronin back in 2000, this extraordinary space has undergone a restoration that is nothing short of breathtaking. From the moment you step inside, it’s clear this isn’t just a garden, it’s a labour of love. The beautifully restored glasshouses, orangery, and gardener’s cottage are a testament to their vision. Art pieces are thoughtfully placed throughout, and the new water feature and Capability Brown-inspired dipping pond add even more tranquillity to the setting. Thousands of plants and flowers bring colour and fragrance to every corner, and remarkably, this is still a work in progress. With much more still to come, this garden is a masterpiece in the making. If you’re anywhere near Worcestershire, or even if you’re not, do make it a priority. This is horticultural heaven.
