The Ship Inn
The Ship Inn at Sandside is located on the B5282 in between Milnthorpe and Arnside and boasts spectacular views over the Kent estuary. On a clear day you can savour the Lake District fells and valleys of the Langdales and Coniston Old Man from the Ship Inn.The pub is now under the new management of Ray and Lyn and once again receiving rave reviews for its delicious, reasonably-priced food and atmosphere. Not to mention the real ales with a choice of three available all year-round, and four during the summer months. These include Black Sheep bitter, Lancaster Blonde, Golden Pippin, and Golden Sunset. All food at the Ship Inn at Sandside is home cooked on the premises using local local, fresh ingredients wherever possible. There is a daily specials board which changes as to the season with a traditional roast every Sunday. Pies are home-baked with fresh haddock (when available) and pizzas are available to takeaway.
