Fresh from appearing in my Top 100 Romantic Destinations book, The Salthouse Hotel & Spa has taken luxury to the next level. Since my last visit, this incredible retreat has evolved dramatically, cementing its place among Northern Ireland’s finest hotels. With opulent bedrooms and eco-lodges, luxury is simply standard here. The recent addition of a stunning infinity pool and an expanded spa experience shows that the owners are relentless in their pursuit of perfection. Food is another highlight at The Salthouse. Guests can enjoy The Lookout, an Italian-inspired eatery, which delivers on all counts. Or why not indulge in the main restaurant, where top-tier chefs create a culinary journey using the freshest, locally sourced ingredients. Their reputation stretches across the island of Ireland and rightfully so. Salthouse is not just a hotel, it’s an experience, a testament to what passion and dedication can achieve in the world of luxury hospitality.
