Review
Standing proud and handsome upon the banks of the River Dee in the charming community of Bangor-On-Dee,the golden glow of warm lit windows, twinkle and welcome you into this splendid pub. Dating back to 1851, this landmark building offers the excellent combination of cosy and contemporary. The aroma of a crackling fire greets you as you walk in, big, soft sofas for you to melt into as you enjoy a drink or two, and let the cares of life flow away downstream. For those who wish to dine, there is a wonderful diverse menu offering delicious and original food, all served piping hot to your table by extremely friendly and accommodating staff. A real favourite for local diners who know this well kept secret, it’s a jolly good idea to book your table in advance, it fills up very quickly. Lighter bites and homemade pizza available for flying visits.
