The Red Lion in Llandyfaelog, offers a very comfortable stay, with 5 rooms in operation, each one has been decorated to a very high standard. The owner of this pub, really does care about all her guests, so expect a great Welsh welcome from Sarah, and her team. This is the second time that we have featured the pub in this Welsh book, as the reviews get better and better. The Village of Llandyfaelog makes an excellent base, from which to travel and explore all the Attractions that Carmarthenshire has to offer. After a day spent enjoying the local area, you can then relax in the evening, have a drink or two, whilst reflecting over the day. If walking is your thing, nearby Kidwelly & Pembrey has wonderful beaches and forests on offer.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

I'm someone who loves good food, it doesn't have to be fancy, just food that has that extra ingredient: Love. Love is exactly what the order of the day is here at the Red Lion, with all produce fresh and locally sourced. Sarah and her team really do push the boat out to make sure that every dish you order is not only served with a smile, but is one that doesn't break the bank. There are not too many businesses that we endorse in the accommodation and restaurant sections of my books, but occasionally, you'll come across a particular place that excels in all departments of its business, and the Red Lion at Llandyfaelog is one such business. With its tartan chairs, rustically charming tables and a friendly face, you'll feel right at home when you visit the Red Lion at Llandyfaelog.
