After travelling extensively across the British Isles and Ireland for the past sixteen years, it takes something special to stop me in my tracks, yet Parr’s Bank did exactly that. This new boutique hotel, right in the heart of Warrington town centre, has been created with remarkable care, imagination and generosity. Housed within a handsome Grade II listed building, its wonderfully furnished bedrooms blend contemporary luxury with warmth, character and none of the usual pretension so often associated with the word. The owners have spared no expense, and every detail feels considered. Free onsite parking is a welcome advantage, especially in such a central location. Downstairs, the inviting coffee shop serves coffee and light bites and provides the perfect place to linger together. Parr’s Bank is a refreshing alternative to chain hotels and, for couples searching for an intimate, stylish wedding venue offering genuine value, it is a romantic choice.
