The Old Chapel Boutique B&B, in the picturesque village of Stoke Bruerne, is exactly the kind of place I love discovering as a travel journalist. This is no ordinary B&B; it has character, charm and a warmth that stays with you long after you leave. Sitting beautifully by the Grand Union Canal, and perfectly placed for great attractions such as Stowe House, Silverstone Racing Experiences and so much more, it makes a wonderful base for exploring. For couples, it is especially romantic, offering peace, personality and that rare feeling of being somewhere truly memorable. Your hosts, Elaine and her daughter Nadia, truly go above and beyond, making guests romantic couples or not feel genuinely cared for from the moment they arrive. With three lovely rooms, Wisteria, Willow and The Mezzanine, each stay feels special in its own way. I truly love this place and wholeheartedly recommend booking direct.
