The Milk Shed's Little Story
Hi, I'm Lucie and I'm just an ordinary, but very greedy girl.
Many years in catering, including lots of time spent on events, have failed to diminish my obsession with food and The Milk Shed is my little dream come true.
I've always wanted a cafe, and now I've got one, but with a great big ice cream machine too! That was a bit scary to begin with, but now it's my favourite part and we've been busy whizzing up fresh ripe bananas with custard for our banoffee flavour, and smashing up meringues for the luscious and creamy eton mess; scraping out vanilla pods, crushing flakes, squishing raspberries, cracking coconuts and lusting after huge bags of fudge!
The menu is a list of love, and we'll be cooking all my favourite things which are admittedly a bit of an eclectic mix, but it's my cafe and I'll cook the things I love, so we've got dishes inspired by my wonderful Mum who is an amazing cook and nurturer, by my travels, my love of Cornwall, and by nostalgia; but most of all by greed.
