A firm favourite among visitors to Derry, The Iona Inn has been welcoming guests for many years, combining comfort with genuine family hospitality. Owned by the same family for decades, this popular B&B has continually benefited from thoughtful investment, ensuring it remains fresh, inviting and suited to today’s traveller. Its ten beautifully furnished bedrooms provide everything needed for a relaxing stay, while the attentive service easily exceeds its three-star rating. Tanya and Chris are exceptional hosts, greeting everyone with warmth and a smile, whatever the day may bring. Their impressive local knowledge is another advantage, offering advice on attractions, hidden corners and the city’s evolving food scene. For comfort, character and location, I really do think the Iona Inn remains a superb Derry accommodation choice.
