With just 14 rooms, this boutique inn offers an intimate, welcoming atmosphere. Each room is meticulously designed with a fresh, modern aesthetic, reflecting a “no expense spared” approach to comfort and style. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in, ensuring a truly restful night. The gastropub downstairs complements the stay perfectly, serving delightful food in a relaxed yet vibrant setting. Whether you’re visiting Galway or looking for a local getaway, The Huntsman is a must-visit for an exceptional experience in both hospitality and honest dining.

The atmosphere is both vibrant and cozy, with a warm, welcoming vibe that feels genuine, thanks to the friendly but never intrusive staff. It’s clear why this spot comes highly recommended by locals and visitors alike. The food is the star of the show here, my Monkfish and Prawns Kerala Curry was a revelation. Perfectly balanced spices, succulent seafood, and a rich, aromatic sauce made it the best curry I’ve had in ages. Each bite was a journey of flavours, leaving me wishing I could savour it all over again. If you’re exploring the City of Tribes, The Huntsman should be a top contender on your culinary map, that’s a fact!
