The Grapes Hotel
Review
“Amid a rushing mountain stream, a giant boulder stands, bright gems of mica o’er it gleam.” R.Archer.
Time spent at The Grapes Hotel in the village of Marentwrog, is like taking a step back in time to the glorious Georgian period. Grade II Listed, the handsome village Inn, retains its captivating Georgian character, as one of the oldest, and most famous coaching inns in Wales. The cosy glow of log fires creates an inviting atmosphere, in this picturesque hotel, situated right at the heart of Snowdonia. Award winning, this timeless jewel has not just a dynamic history, but is renowned for its seasonal home cooked, and totally scrummy food. Why not stay awhile in one of the charming en-suite rooms, or a traditional Welsh cottage. Recently refurbished, rooms are original and spacious, with modern day comfort.
