The Gilpin Bridge Inn
The Gilpin Bridge Inn, started in the 17th century as a coaching inn and records show that it was closed in the early 1900’s dues to ‘immoral use!!’. In 1872, The Westmorland Gazette reported, on the sale of the farm and innkeepers plant. Our roaring log fire is a real draw, especially with out tropical climate and lakeland showers. Walkers and cyclists enjoy the pub and often use the pub car park as a start/finish point for their days out. Make a night of it! We have 8 individually designed en-suite rooms available.
