Once you visit, it’s easy to see why. Ironically, the real Hollywood lies just over the Wicklow Mountains! The rooms here are cozy, comfortable, and incredibly well-priced compared to Dublin’s larger chains and that’s a fact. The on-site pub downstairs serves exceptional food, making it a complete package for any traveller. Owned by Edel and Brian Lawlor, who boast an impressive pedigree in Irish hospitality despite their youth, you’re guaranteed to be in safe and experienced hands. Whether exploring the beauty of Wicklow or seeking a tranquil retreat, the Enniskerry Inn is the perfect base to relax and recharge.

The Enniskerry Inn is an ideal spot here at the gateway to Wicklow, a county renowned for its beauty and charm. Enniskerry village perfectly reflects this magic, and the food here adds to its allure. Owners Edel and Brian Lawlor are passionate about the provenance of their food, sourcing ingredients with care and delivering dishes that impress. The venison sausages I enjoyed were exceptional, rich, flavourful, and perfectly complemented by creamy mash and a gravy that was simply divine. It’s rare to find food this good at such reasonable prices, especially compared to Dublin’s dining costs. The warm and welcoming atmosphere, combined with attentive service, makes this a must-visit spot for food lovers. I left here completely satisfied, already looking forward to my next visit.
