The Eating Gorilla
Review
Ever wondered what it would be like to be Vegan? I most certainly didn’t, until the Eating Gorilla in the sleepy Welsh village of Penrhyndeudraeth was highly recommended to me. This smart, ethical restaurant doesn’t just come with a huge amount of green credentials, but a tasty menu also. Diane and her business partner Robin have built up an unrivaled reputation locally and you’d be hard pushed to find any derogatory reviews about their cafe. You’ll find the odd one or two vegan establishments dotted around North Wales, but none as good as this one and what makes this one so special, it’s that both owners are really lovely people. The name of this cafe isn’t just random by the way, both Diane & Robin have campaigned and fundraised for Gorillas all around the world.
