The Castle Hotel is steeped in history. It is reputed that Lord Nelson and Lady Hamilton frequented the hotel on a number of occasions. In more recent years Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor have also stayed at the hotel. The Castle boasts a highly acclaimed restaurant with an extensive menu and a cosy wood paneled bar. All rooms at the Castle Hotel have a Private Bathroom with Bath and Free Toiletries. A Full English / Irish breakfast is served every morning. Staff are on hand 24-hours to ensure your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We offer a wide range of dishes on our a la carte menu, along with our daily Chefs specials menu.
