The Boars Head is a fantastic little pub and has now been under new ownership since 2018 and the owner really has not spared any expense with this refurb of this pub and with the help of his great team, making it into one of the best ‘Gastropubs’ in the area. I’m all about energy myself and the energies in this pub are friendly, vibrant and once you're there, you’ll not want to leave. You can just eat in the bar area, if you're looking for something a bit more relaxed and laid back, or you can book a table in the restaurant, no matter what you choose, the pub's friendly team will look after you and they pride themselves on their customer service. The menu is reasonably priced, along with their wide selection of real ales and they seem to have taken the pretentiousness out of the word Gastro.
