The oldest part of The Blue Boar dates from the early 1600's and records show that it has been an ale house since that time.

The Bar is filled with authentic original character and history, with pictures on the wall, original documentation and memorabilla complementing the charming open fire and original flagstones.

Cooler Autumn days bring life to our open fires in the bar and restaurant areas, whereas the sunshine of spring offers the opportunity to relax outside in our patio garden and enjoy the extensive views towards the Cotswold Hills.

For the past 5 centuries, The Blue Boar has been welcoming guests to its' doors to enjoy the warm and friendly ambience.The oldest part of The Blue Boar Inn dates from the early 1600's and records show that it has been an ale house since that time. Historic records trace the names of the individual landlords back as far as 1776.

The Blue Boar has 14 attractive rooms, each with their individual charm and unique character. Many of the rooms still retain many traditional characteristics and beautiful original features, such as wooden beams and stone walls.
