The Belfry at Yarcombe

Accommodation

Beautifully converted boutique and unique, old School hotel near Honiton.
The Belfry Team consists of just Neil and Sarah-Jane as your hosts.
Whilst keeping the character of the building but adding a contemporary touch here and there, we are now The Belfry at Yarcombe, Restaurant and Rooms.
L’Occitane hotel bathroom products, huge fluffy towels, beautiful bed linen and exceptionally comfy beds everyone raves about make a stay, a wonderful stay…plus a delicious “Full Belfry” breakfast.
Intimate Dining – The Restaurant is within one of the old school class rooms with just 10 covers – Perfect for Private Dining – offered to groups of 10-15.

There is one super-king-size, two king-size, two double and one twin/super-king room. One of the doubles and and the twin are on the ground floor.

Each of the rooms at our Honiton accommodation is named after one of the great poets of the nineteenth century, all of whom were writing around the time that The Belfry was planned and built as the village school.

We like our guests to be relaxed and at peace in their room and so not only will you find new Samsung flat screen televisions, tea/coffee facilities but there will be bottled mineral water and biscuits in the room (with the occasional home-made flapjack!). You will find a CD player with CDs available to borrow on the landing. white waffle-weave bathrobes in the wardrobe for you to wrap up in and of course the complete works of the poet after whom your room was named may also be found in your room.

Our beds are made with spotless white 100% cotton sheets, pillowcases and duvet covers and our bathrooms have 100% cotton towels and face flannels (and the bath towels are the biggest on the market). The curtains and bed throws are high-quality, as is the tea and coffee, herbals, hot-chocolate and malt drinks (these things are important!). Fresh milk and juices for if you are thirsty are in the fridge under the stairs for you to help yourselves.

All the bathrooms have pressurised water to make Power Showers.
