I arrived expecting a good coastal pub and left having discovered something far more memorable. Steeped in history and standing proudly along the Wild Atlantic Way for around two centuries, this is the kind of place that instantly wraps you in authentic Irish character. Every corner seems to tell a story, while the warm welcome makes it feel timeless. Beside the pub, the adjoining B&B offers 11 inviting bedrooms that provide a restful and comfortable base for exploring this beautiful stretch of Sligo. Breakfast is generous and satisfying, exactly what you need before a day on the road. The food served here is another triumph, with real care shown in both quality and provenance throughout a menu that genuinely impresses from start to finish.
