Tepee Valley Campsite
Review
Perched within the rolling countryside of Co. Armagh, the Tepee Valley Campsite is a true hidden gem and a well-deserving feature in my Top 100 Attractions on the Island of Ireland book, now for the second time. Linda & Kenny Gilmore have poured nearly two decades of dedication into creating a unique, cozy, and thoughtfully designed getaway. Unlike larger, impersonal sites, Tepee Valley offers just the right balance, spacious enough for privacy but with an intimate charm that makes it feel special. Recent additions like The Meadow Studio and The Abram’s House elevate the experience, providing bright, modern, and stylish accommodations for a memorable break. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat in nature or a quirky, comfortable escape, this campsite delivers. It’s more than just a place to stay; it’s a destination in itself, offering a warm welcome and a true taste of rural Northern Ireland’s beauty. Highly recommended!

Groucho’s on the Square
Groucho’s on the Square, a beloved institution in Richhill, remains as relevant today as it was when I endorsed it in my first Island of Ireland book. Owned by Peter Lyness, who has carried on his father’s legacy with unwavering dedication, this pub is a true Northern Ireland gem.
